Hej,

mam lamerskie pytanie, ale zaczne od wstepu, aby dac pewien rys...

moja firma ma umowe z MS - w ramach tej umowy wszyscy pracownicy maja free caly dostepny asortyment MS - dostepne jest to na internalu, zalaczone sa klucze korporacyjne. W szczegoly licencyjne nie bede sie wdawac, bo to bez sensu w tej chwili.
Otoz pewien czas temu pojawila sie do zassania wersja se7en ultimate i enterprise
Zassalem ta druga, wlasnie zainstalowalem, wklepalem klucz i nawet z niej pisze.
Nie mam pewnosci czy jest to RC1, czy tak jak upieraja sie niektorzy w firmie, ze to wersja final - retail.

Czy w systemie bedzie widoczna gdzies taka informacja? niestety na internalu nikt nie pokusil sie nawet o krotki opis :( a nie wiem gdzie to sprawdzic....

How to find windows version, build number and revision number?

* Click Start, type regedit and press Enter to open the Windows registry
* Navigate to the registry key – HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion

On the right panel, you will find the key CurrentBuildNumber.The value of this key is your Windows Build Number. Then find a key called CurrentVersion and its value is your windows version i.e. the version of your windows vista, windows xp, etc. You will also find keys called EditionID and ProductId to know the windows edition and product id.

The key BuildLabEx containd build number and revision number.For example, in the value 6001.17387.x86fre.vistasp1_gdr.070927-1921, the first four digits stand for build number i.e. 6001 and the next five digits stand for windows revision number i.e. 17387. x86 tells you that you are running a 32-bit operating system.

Milestone 2 (Build 6589) - M2 was demonstrated at the D6 conference and included the first changes to the taskbar.

Milestone 3 (Build 6780) - This version was released in Sept 2008 and included ribbon bar changes to some applications, but remained similar in appearance to Vista.

Build 6801 - Most current users of Windows 7 will be using this version, distributed at the Microsoft PDC.

Build 6933 - This version of Windows 7 was shown at PDC but not distributed. It contains the new taskbar which may appear in the final release

Build 7000 - Beta 1 of Windows 7, released to the Technet and MSDN subscribers in early January 2009. [Review here] Released to general public on 9th Jan 2009 with filenames:

Build 7022 - A popular leaked build that includes some slight performance improvements over Beta 1. IE8 is updated to RC1, the pain application has changed and there are some icon changes.

Build 7025 - This build appeared on a Chinese blog [here] and appears to contain additional features, such as edition selection (Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate).

Build 7032 - Compiled on January 29th 2009, this build seems to be a minor change over previous releases.

Build 7048 - This build incorporates some major changes over the Beta 1 release, such as a new Start Menu orb, backgrounds and sounds, plus expanded control over which core components are installed (such as IE8 and WMP).

Build 7057 - Compiled on 5th March 2009 at 8PM, this release includes a new logon screen and security fixes to the UAC system. New wallpapers and user icons are also included, along with minor bug fixes.

Build 7068 - Compiled on 21th March 2009 at 1:22PM, this release includes a larger driver database plus some minor performance tweaks

Build 7070 - Screenshots of this version apparently leaked via the son of a MS employee through an internet forum.

Build 7100 - Release Candidate 1 of Windows 7.

Build 7200 - Release Candidate 2 of Windows 7.

Build 7600 - RTM build of Windows 7 - this will be released to TechNet/MSDN/Partners soon.

Najprościej? Jeśli nic nie grzebałeś, to w wersjach nie-RTM na pulpicie w prawym dolnym rogu znajduje się napis "Windows 7. Evaluation copy. Build XXXX" gdzie XXXX to nr wersji. W RTM ten napis w ogóle się nie pojawia.

W MSDN angielska wersja RTM już się pojawiła, więc możliwe, że masz wersję "sklepową".

Fefka, mówisz o MSDN bezprzymiotnikowym? Mam dostęp do MSDN AA i tam polskiej wersji RTM nie widzę. Możliwości są dwie:
- MSDN różni się tempem aktualizacji od MSDN AA
- admin mojego lokalnego MSDN AA dał ciała (w co osobiście wątpię, bo wersja angielska RTM jest, a chyba powinny się pojawić równocześnie?)

Jeśli się nie mylę to w wersji ultimate można doinstalować (w ramach uaktualnień) różne języki i z wersji EN zrobić PL.

Przepraszam - małe sprostowanie.

Miałem na myśli Microsoft Campus Agreement gdzie 7-ka PL dostępna jest od 6-go sierpnia aczkolwiek myślałem, że pojawia się on również w takim samym terminie w przypadku innych umów grupowych.

Swoją drogą dla klientów Software Assurance powinny być dostępne wersje Ultimate i Enterprise (taką mam u siebie zainstalowaną) gdzie można w systemie zmienić język bez konieczności wybierania wersji językowej.

Jeśli się nie mylę to w wersji ultimate można doinstalować (w ramach uaktualnień) różne języki i z wersji EN zrobić PL.

Tak, można, właśnie siedzę na RC Ulitmate EN + PL uaktualnienie. Problem w tym, że RTM dostępna w MSDN AA to już tylko i wyłącznie wersja Professional, gdzie takiej możliwości nie ma. Tzn. da się ją włączyć, ale jest to na bakier z licencją. Poczekam sobie do października, nie pali się :)
